Statement from the U.S. Embassy Pristina

The U.S. Embassy wishes to thank the people of Kosovo for the warm and generous welcome they gave Vice President Biden on May 21.  While the Vice President could not meet personally with all the thousands of people who showed their enthusiasm by lining the streets and roads of Kosovo, he was touched by the outpouring of affection and respect.  We apologize for any inconvenience related to road closures and other necessary measures associated with the visit.
