U.S. Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) program
Kosovo was designated as a beneficiary developing country under the U.S. Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) program at the end of 2008. The GSP program, established in 1976, promotes economic growth by providing preferential duty-free entry for more than 4,650 products from 131 designated beneficiary countries and territories.

As of July 1, 2009, frozen uncooked potatoes and frozen spinach have been added to the list of products eligible for duty-free export to the United States. A complete list of products eligible for duty-free export to the U.S. can be found here.
